Magnesium alloy sheet/plate/slab
Magnesium sheet is used to make magnesium tooling plate or feed to the magnesium slab extrusion or magnesium slab rolling mill to get magnesium sheet. It is too difficult to get a evenly alloying element distribution in the slab because of the low weight, melt point and the lively chemistry of magnesium.We use the wrought magnesium alloy LFEC tech to cast the the wrought magnesium alloy slab in semi-continuous casting process which is called semi-solid casting magnesium slab process. The magnesium alloy slab lefc tech is owned by the Northeast University. the wrought magnesium alloy has fine surface and innerevenly alloying element distribution, no airvent and dendrite, etc.
A special crystallizer with adjusted electromagnetic filed is adopted to keep the good microstructure same as that of the magnesium billet. The grain size of the alloy slab is within 80 um.
we can supply the magnesium alloy slab cover the slab size in 220x1020x4100mm. The slab trademark includes AZ, ZK, ZE, AM etc. Also we could provide the magnesium alloy slab of Al 18% or more according the the requirement of the customer.
